Farmer and take away owner settle with Revenue

TWO people from Donegal have made significant settlements with Revenue according to the most recent list of tax defaulters published this week.
The Revenue data for the second quarter of this year reveals that a farmer and take-away owner from Donegal are among the 66 cases contained in the recent publication.
 
Fast food provider, Nunzio Magliocco, of the Ballybofey Grill from Main Street, Ballybofey has been ordered to pay €336,404 for the under-declaration of Income Tax, PAYE, PRSI and USC. According to Revenue, some payment has been made by an amount of €331,586 remained outstanding at the time of publication.
 
Farmer, Ivor Stewart, from Illistrin, Letterkenny, settled with Revenue in the sum of €117,627 for non-declaration of Capital Acquisitions Tax. The discovery was made as the result of a Revenue Audit.
A Letterkenny man also appeared on the list in relation to the illegal selling of cigarettes. Revenue documents show Ciaran Maguire of Leitir Ard was fined €2,500 when the case was brought before the District Court.
