Farm sheds destroyed in late-night blaze in Raphoe

A fire caused extensive damage to farm sheds in the Whitecross area of Raphoe, East Donegal, late last night.

The blaze erupted shortly after 8 PM, quickly spreading through the premises.

Multiple fire service units from both sides of the border were deployed to the scene, battling the flames for several hours before finally bringing the fire under control. Fortunately, there have been no reports of injuries.

The exact cause of the fire remains unknown. Gardaí were present at the scene and confirmed that local fire services successfully extinguished the blaze.

“No injuries were reported, and no offences were disclosed,” stated a Garda spokesperson.

Authorities are still awaiting further comments from the Fire Service regarding the incident.
