The 2026 season officially launched at Barnhill last Sunday 8th March with the traditional Captains’ Drive-In.
A fantastic crowd gathered to cheer on Lady Captain Mena Delap and Men’s Captain Charlie McHugh as they found the fairway with their inaugural drives of the year.
The ceremonial start led into a high-spirited Four-Person Scramble, where the pleasant spring conditions inspired some exceptional scoring across the board.

The day concluded with a wonderful atmosphere in the clubhouse, where both Captains thanked the members for the warm turnout and praised the greenkeeping staff for the superb course conditions.
With the season now officially underway, the club looks forward to a brilliant year of golf ahead.
