Fanad back on top of the Premier Division

Fanad United have returned to the summit of the Premier Division after coming from behind to win away at Cappry Rovers on Sunday.

Cappry fashioned the first opportunity of the game as the opening stages and beyond continued to be a battle.

Jamie Murray set up Shaun McMenamin for the first chance inside two minutes as his controlled strike from the edge of the area flew narrowly over the crossbar.

Edward O’Reilly was on the end of Fanad United’s first chance of the afternoon and his hit from range required a fingertip save from Eoin Gallen.
