DJ Chuckie greets the crowds at the Pulse.

AN internally renowned DJ brought City of Derry Airport to extra time when he got delayed on his way to playing in Donegal. DJ Chuckie wowed his fans at The Pulse Venue, Letterkenny on Sunday night, but he very nearly didn’t make it on time.
The famous Dutch DJ, who has worked with megastars such as of Tinie Tempah, Kesha, , P Diddy, 50 Cent and Akon was on his way home from an engagement in Las Vegas in his private jet when he realised that he had forgotten his leather jacket and passport.
Making his way to Donegal via Amsterdam, Chuckie was delayed by over an hour and so all the staff at City of Derry stayed on until his plane arrived.
With him on the plane was a Sky TV production crew currently following Chuckie around the world for six months for a fly-on-the-wall documentary and a news editor from one of the largest newspapers in The Netherlands.
Despite being delayed, Chuckie and his entourage were picked up in Derry and driven to the Pulse where the DJ entertained a packed and very appreciative house.
On Monday morning Chuckie’s jet left from City of Derry Airport for Brazil, again via Amsterdam, leaving behind lots of fans who weren’t disappointed.
The next big act to pay a visit to The Pulse will be none other than Snow Patrol who will play a DJ set and meet and greet fans on June bank holiday weekend (Sunday, June 3).
