A RAPHOE family have raised an incredible €8,000 for the North West Cancer Centre at Altnaglevin Hospital.
William Tinney and his family have presented the fundraising proceeds to the North West Cancer Centre in Derry.
William, his wife Mary, sons Gavin and Liam and daughter Sandra made the presentation to Professor Stewart, Consultant Oncologist and Tracey Mears, Radiotherapy Nurse Specialist.
A spokesperson for the Western Trust said: “On behalf of the North West Cancer we would like to pass on a huge thank you to all who kindly donated and supported the Tinney Family’s fundraising efforts, including the charity night that was held.
“It is very much appreciated by staff, patients and relatives and will go towards patients comfort funds in the North West Cancer Centre.”
