Family ask for prayers for critically ill Daibhin

DONATIONS have been pouring in for a Donegal family whose son is critically ill in a Dublin hospital.

Little Daibhin Curran is under the care of Crumlin’s Children’s Hospital for a serious heart condition.

Daibhin’s aunt, Lisa Crawford, has reached out for the public’s support.

A gofundme page has been set up for the St Johnston family and Lisa has thanked everyone for their kindness and prayers for Daibhin and his parents, Megan and Barry Curran “during the most difficult time of their lives.”

“Their son Daibhin is currently fighting for his life.

“He has been diagnosed with Myocarditis and Cardiomyopathy, along with Rhinovirus and Parvovirus infections. Because his heart and lungs are not able to function on their own right now, Daibhin is being supported by an Ecmo Machine, which is a form of life support, used in critical situations.

“We are asking for help to ease the overwhelming financial dreadful situation.

“Any donation, no matter the size, will be greatly appreciated.

“Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, support and prayers.”
