A FALCARRAGH man admitted to driving without insurance and to driving with a bald tyre on a separate occasion.
Paul McCausland, with an address at Ballintemple, was stopped by Gardaí at Station Road, Falcarragh, on October 23, 2024, the local court was told.
He had no insurance and subsequently failed to produce an insurance certificate.

On June 17, 2025, he was apprehended driving at Main Street, Gortahork, with the left front tyre of his vehicle bald.
On the insurance charge, Judge Emile Daly imposed a fine of €500 and disqualified the defendant from driving for a period of four years.
For driving with a bald tyre, he was further fined €200.
