What sets them apart from the rest, is that they are an intercultural theatre company who create theatre based on their personal stories and life experiences.

As part of this month’s ecclectic One Donegal Cultural Diversity Festival programme, the company has devised a new forum theatre play entitled What I Talk About When I Talk About Racism.

Set during a family dinner party, audience members including secondary school students will be invited to swap their role of spectator for that of actor and take to the stage in order to change the action of the play.

Speaking of the new production Theatre Director, Idan Meir said: “As part of our research we took to the streets of Letterkenny in order to find out what views are held by the general public on the topics of racism and sectarianism.

“As you can imagine, we found some interesting points of view and we have incorporated these audio recordings into our piece of theatre.
“We are now inviting people to join us for our show in the RCC. We want to add their voices to the mix. This is a contemporary piece of theatre that deals with very real issues.”
