THE future of 35 jobs at a well known retail store in Letterkenny remains unclear this evening.
It follows the shock news a receiver has been appointed to Gormley’s Centra store on the Circular Road.
Wholesaler Musgrave, who are the store’s main suppliers, confirmed “it was with regret” it had has taken the decision to end the relationship with Gormley’s Centra Letterkenny.
“A range of supports have been provided to the store in recent times, but our trading relationship is no longer commercially viable,” a company statement read.
Gormley’s Centra is one of the town’s leading convenience shops and has provided hundreds of jobs over the years.
