The charity single was recorded at Popstar Studios in Dublin’s Stoneybatter and is due for release in the coming weeks.

Jacqui features along household names such as Keith Duffy, Brian McFadden, B’Witched, Tommy Fleming, Ciaran Nagle of the Irish Tenors, Orla Fallon from Celtic Women, Jim McKee, Paul Harrington, Charlie McGettigan and many others.

There is also another fellow Donegal native featured on the single – Lifford’s Mickey Joe Harte also joined Lynch in his charity venture. Other celebrities featured include popular TV3 weatherman Martin King, comedian Dave Young and actor Glen Hannon.

Jacqui said: “Unfortunately, many people write off the homeless as being drunks or drug addicts who have been the authors of their own misfortune, however, this is, obviously, ignorance of people’s circumstances.

“Many have come from abusive homes, foster homes or institutions, many have lost everything through no fault of their own, and it is humbling and really sad to hear what they have been through. Irish actor Glen Gannon himself was, at one time, homeless, through circumstances, and he is an inspiration.”
