Excitement building for Geaney ahead of the Rally

DONEGAL Navigator Ciarán Geaney is hoping for a good performance at this year’s Donegal International Rally.

Falcarragh man Geaney navigates for Muff native Joe McGonigle and for two local men, it’s the biggest weekend of the year.

Having tasted class success in the Donegal Rally before, they will be hoping to be right up there fighting at the top once the action begins on Friday.

“I suppose from one June to another this is the event we’re always prepping for and looking forward to and now that it’s less than a week away it’s very exciting.

“The two of us are from Donegal and we’ve grown up spectating and watching the rally. It has the biggest meaning of all events for us so you’re hoping to bring your best performance for Donegal.”
