CROWDS gathered in The Cottage Bar in Letterkenny for a day of art, food and music in a bid to celebrate Irish and Ukrainian cultures.
The event was organised by Steven Crane and Kayleigh Bowery, to get Ukrainians involved to make sure they were feeling welcome.
An art exhibition kicked things off. It featured many Ukrainian artists, showcasing pieces from a recent exhibition held in An Grianan Theatre called ‘Birds Flying High’.

Following the exhibition, The Dunleavy women served some Irish stew and sandwiches to give the Ukrainian guests a taste of Irish cuisine.

On the night there were performances from Without Willow, Aisling Jarvis, Michael Gillespie, Future Moyo, Gary Gillen, Max Agafonov, The Notions, Darren O’Halloran, Hannah Ryan, Logi Bare, Yuri Manziuk, Finlay Thompson and Finnoula Fallon, Millie Green, Hannah McFadden, Moya Brennan, Aiden Hayes and George Houston.
Ukrainian DJ, Eugene took to the decks to show Letterkenny what he was made of and Yuri, who is fourteen years old, entertained the crowds with his Saxophone.
