A major power outage is impacting almost 3,000 homes in Milford.

North Donegal has been experiencing gale force winds this morning and the ESB has confirmed it is working to repair the damage.

According to the utility, 2,869 customers are currently affected.

“We apologise for the loss of supply. We are currently working to repair a fault and will restore power as quickly as possible,” said a spokesperson.
