A SPECIAL climb up Errigal last month helped to raise over €6,000 for the North West Special Olympics Club (NWSO).
A huge crowd reached Donegal’s highest peak on June 7 to raise funds for the club.
A whopping €6,461.65 was raised and the proceeds were presented this week to club members and officials.

Donations were taken in the lead-up and also on the day while a jersey from Donegal football star Peadar Mogan proved a huge hit in the sponsorship quest.

NWSO Club is a Special Olympics Club affiliated to Special Olympics Ireland and members compete in basketball, golf and seven-a-side football.
The club is raising funds to promote and facilitate athletes within the club to achieve their sporting dreams and opportunities to play their sports.
