Entertaining draw between Cranford and Glenea

Cranford United 2 Glenea United 2

Cranford United and Glenea United played out an entertaining draw at Cranford Park on Sunday.

The hosts took the lead thanks to a looping header from centre back Shane Coll but Glenea responded through a nice counter attack finished off by Calvin Murray.

Glenea struck again just before half time through Carragher Friel but Coll got his second header of the game from a Kyle McFadden corner on the hour mark.

Cranford went into the game off the back of a 1-1 draw away to Cappry Rovers last week, while Glenea were looking for their points of the season after a home loss to Letterkenny Rovers

A good pace to the early stages saw both defences have to defend well, but it was Cranford who got the first real chance of the game.
