EMERGNECY works being carried out on the Windy Hall Road in Letterkenny are taking longer than expected and the road will be blocked in various locations for another two days.
Donegal County Council is undertaking emergency pothole repairs which will continue on Tuesday and Wednesday from 8am to 4.30pm.
“Expect delays and avoid the area if possible,” said a spokesperson for Donegal County Council.
“The section between Long Lane and Kilmacrennan Road should be reopened by the end of works tomorrow (Tuesday).
“The second section from An Lagan to Long Lane will commence some time tomorrow and extend into Wednesday. Traffic Control may be in place along parts of the second section if traffic can pass safely.
“I wish to apologise for any inconvenience caused as the work has taken longer than expected.”
