GARDAÍ and emergency services this evening attended at the scene of a serious injury incident involving a male in Letterkenny.
The incident – which is understood to be weather-related – occurred shortly after 4.15pm.
The public are being urged to heed the weather warnings that are in place and follow the advice of the authorities as the worst of the weather hits.

Donegal was earlier upgraded to a status red weather warning between 4pm and 6pm today, as Storm Amy is forecast to bring extremely strong and gusty southwest winds.
Met Éireann has warned that the storm could cause fallen trees, power line damage and dangerous travelling conditions.
