Dungloe’s own Ellie Ward was tonight chosen as the 2025 Mary from Dungloe.
Ellie did her home area proud by winning the prestigious competition.
Fifteen young women took part in the contest and the crowning cabaret at Rosses Community School this evening was presented by Daniel O’Donnell.

Ellie, a student in Letterkenny, will hold the title for a year.
As well as the honour of being Mary from Dungloe, Ellie will also receive €3,000 travel vouchers, €1,000 cash and a host of other prizes.
