ELEVEN drivers were arrested across Donegal Division for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

The arrests were made over the course of Friday, April 25 to Sunday, April 27.

A garda spokesperson described the numbers as “worrying”.

“These numbers are worrying and we continue to urge all drivers never to get behind the wheel of a vehicle while under the influence.”
