Declarations are about to be made with respect to the Letterkenny Local Electoral Area, Donegal County Council elections. It’s understood that count results will commence from Count 13, having previously stalled on count 12/13.

The waiting game continues here at the Aura Leisure Centre in Letterkenny. Candidates are beginning to filter into the count centre as the first re-count is eagerly awaited.

A total re-count of the Letterkenny LEA is underway here at the Aura Leisure Centre. This comes after Aontú candidate Mary T Sweeney requested a full re-count of the Letterkenny LEA votes in the early hours of this morning.
