Elected to FF 'Committee of twenty'

Bundoran native, Claudia Kennedy (29), told delegates at the event that she was delighted to have been elected to one of the influential bodies that make up the FF Ard Chomhairle (National Executive).

Ms Kennedy, who is heavily involved with Ogra Fianna Fáil, said she will be promoting regional development and policy development within the party.

“This will entail grass roots members informing policy developers of what is needed on the ground in relation to issues of agriculture, enterprise, education and health. Their daily experiences will inform our parliamentary party on what needs to be done. Our voice, concerns and problems will be heard,” she said following her election.

Ms Kennedy stressed that “reconnections to the issues, people and community” is the only way forward for FF.
“I will be reporting back to grass roots as their representative on the Ard Chomhairle of the party through a number of ways such as emails, phone calls, letters, meetings, facebook and text messages”.

“As a representative on the committee of twenty I will be honest, speaking from experience and from the heart. I shall be vocal, co-operative and dedicated.
“I will be attending all meetings and I will report back to the members after every meeting,” she concluded.
