EIGHT Donegal properties will go under the hammer at the next Allsop auction on Thursday, April 28, in the RDS Concert Hall.
The local highlights include a number of family homes throughout the county including an attractive semi-detached four bedroom house in Killygordon with a reserve at €65,000.
There will also be a semi-detached three bedroom house in Carrick with a reserve of €60,000 and a semi-detached three bedroom house in Ramelton, also reserved at €60,000.
On the commercial side, there is a three storey mid-terrace mixed use building on Castle Street iAllsopn Ballyshannon comprising a ground floor retail unit with residential accommodation overhead. The property carries a reserve range of €55,000 – €65,000.
Commenting at the launch of the April auction catalogue, Mr Jonathan Fenn, Allsop’s Divisional Director, said it has assembled 213 lots for the first of three auctions to take place in the second quarter of this year.
“The catalogue provides primarily residential assets but with a significant commercial offering of over 70 lots. A number of multi-family lots will undoubtedly draw interest from investors, given the asset management and development opportunities. This will bring much needed accommodation to families under pressure to secure a home.”
The total value reserved for the 200 residential and investment properties is over €24m. This catalogue offers a broad range of houses and apartments located nationwide, along with a selection of over 70 commercial properties.
