Education Minister Norma Foley given warm welcome in Creeslough

Education Minister Norma Foley has received a warm welcome from the excited pupils and staff of Scoil Mhuire, Creeslough.

Minister Foley is in the county today to officially open a new state of the art school at Scoil Mhuire B&C, Stranorlar and a modern extension at Scoil Mhuire Creeslough.

Creeslough was her first stop this morning with Agriculture Minister Charlie McConalogue and Senator Niall Blaney also joining her on her visit.

The new Scoil Mhuire Stranorlar school building has 24 classrooms, a PE hall and a suite of resource rooms, which will allow for the schools expansion to a capacity of 700 students in the coming years.

 

The new extension in Scoil Mhuire in Creeslough includes two classrooms and a resource room. The school was also recently approved an ASD class that will open at the school in September 2023.
