LETTERKENNY Educate Together had an exciting start to the day yesterday as the school hosted a lively sports assembly with some very special guests.
Pupils were thrilled to welcome special guest Gavin McAteer, who recently represented Ireland at the Under-17 World Cup in Doha.
Having followed his impressive journey throughout the tournament, the children were eager to meet him, and Gavin’s visit brought a real sense of pride to the school community.
The assembly also marked the launch of the school’s Winter Draw, headlined by an incredible prize, a brand-new Donegal jersey signed by the legendary Michael Murphy.
The prize was generously sponsored by Michael Murphy Sports, whose support was warmly acknowledged.
Adding to the excitement, Teddy Murphy made a special appearance to help unveil the stunning new Donegal jersey, much to the delight of pupils and staff alike.
It was a memorable morning that celebrated both sporting achievement and community spirit.
