A NUMBER of areas in Donegal suffered flooding on Monday night and Tuesday morning as torrential rain battered the country causing rivers to overflow and roads to get washed away.
Donegal Director of Roads, Mr John McLaughlin had staff working all through Monday night to try to clear flooded roads and render them safe for driving on.
