THE much talked about theatre spectacular, Fiesta, will run another night at An Grianán Theatre, Letterkenny, due to unprecedented public demand.
With word spreading about this unique and original play the demand for tickets has been phenomenal. Following last night, Thursday’s preview the word on the street is that Fiesta is the festival event not-to-be-missed and will now run from Saturday 12th to Tuesday, July 15.
Earagail Arts Festival’s showpiece production ‘Fiesta’, is a new play celebrating one of the finest dance halls in Ireland – a celebration of the music, memories and stories that made the Fiesta Ballroom in Letterkenny a place filled with nostalgia.
Paul Brown, Festival Director, said: “It’s a true testament to the power of reminiscence and the place the Fiesta Ballroom occupied in the hearts and minds of so many people across the North West that this play has become so popular.
“I am particularly proud of all those who have worked so hard to put this show together and delighted so many people have made the effort to come out and see the play. It really indicates the level of local ownership over this play and indeed the festival”
