WHILE there lots of fantastic events on in the early evening over the closing weekend of this year’s Earagail Arts Festival, the entertainment does not stop there.
From Thursday night right through until Sunday there will be late-night entertainment in The Festival Club at the Greenroom Live on Main Street.

Letterkenny’s popular venue for original music will host the Downtown Rockers DJ set by Seamie Quinn and Traolach Ó Fionnain on Thursday night.

But if you are around early you should go and check out the final heat of the festival’s Soundcheck talent competition. Local artists will be competing and the event is free.

This night will be a celebration of world music and will be a great event to go to following the performance of Senegalese group Mokoomba at the Regional Cultural Centre. On Friday night the ever popular DJ Marty Clampett will be stepping up to the decks in the Festival Club.

If you are attending the Song Sisters concert at An Grianán Theatre on Saturday, you should pop into the Greenroom for Daithi Ramsay’s DJ set afterwards.

Sunday night will mark the closing of the 25th annual festival with a performance of South Donegal band Raggamuffin as everyone is invited to gather at The Festival Club to ring out another successful year for Earagail Arts with music and dance.
US street performance artist Jonathan Burns will also be making an appearance on the last night with his flexible comedy show for adults. Entry is only €5.

Tickets priced €5 available in person and over the phone at the festival box office at An Grianán Theatre, Letterkenny tel. +353 (0) 74 9120777 or via the website HYPERLINK “http://www.eaf.ie” www.eaf.ie (Booking fees apply).
