Cappry Rovers 0 Bonagee United 1

Bonagee United will play Milford United next weekend in Ballyare in a promotion/relegation play-off after a narrow victory away to Cappry Rovers, who were relegated to the second tier.

After a scoreless first half, Eamonn Cannon netted the only goal of the game early in the second half.

Jordan Gallagher had a penalty saved by Eoin Gallen late in the match.

While the league title was wrapped up a couple of weeks ago, the relegation battle in the Brian McCormick Sports Premier Division would go right down to the last minute of the season.

Four teams found themselves in the perilous position. Cappry Rovers and Bonagee United were two of those teams with the former out of the drop zone prior to kick-off.
