GARDAI have seized €70,000 in drugs following an operation in Drumkeen.
The seizure was made on Saturday and consisted of MDMA to the value of €40,000, €22,000 in cocaine and cannabis worth €8000.
One male in his 20’s was arrested and detained.
Speaking this morning, Garda Inspector Goretti Sheridan said investigations were ongoing.
“This is a very significant seizure by the Drug Unit in Letterkenny. It highlights the type of drugs which are available in the community.
We are urging the public to report any suspicious activity to An Garda Siochana if they suspect any persons to be involved in or premises being used for the sale and supply of drugs,” Inspector Sheridan added.
