Gardaí are particularly interested in any sightings of two males, believed to be in their early teens, dressed in black bottoms and black coats with their hoods up, walking in the vicinity of the apartment block during the specified time.

Anyone with information related to the theft is urged to contact Gardaí in Letterkenny at 074-9167100.

This incident is part of a trend of e-scooter thefts in the area, prompting Gardaí to advise e-scooter owners to take extra precautions.

Gardaí recommend users always secure and lock their e-scooter when unattended and take photos of the scooter, noting its make and model.

They also encourage e-scooter owners to attend local property marking events and have their scooters marked with their eircode for easier identification in case of theft.
