Paul Durcan is back in the Donegal panel and will be hoping to line out between the sticks on Sunday for the clash with Fermanagh.
The two-time All Star is a fan favourite, and returned home in December after three years in the Middle East.
Durcan spent many years training and competing with Michael Boyle for the number one jersey, but he is no longer involved, nor is Mark Anthony McGinley, who Durcan would have worked with towards the end of his first stint with Donegal.
The Donegal native is now battling it out with Shaun Patton and Michael Lynch for the goalkeeping post, but concedes that he did have a bit of catching up to do when he re-joined the panel.
“It’s tough and it’s a long road, and I’m still working through it.
“But it’s very good with Andy (McGovern) the goalkeeping coach and the two lads that are there.
“Shaun (Patton) is an excellent ‘keeper, and Michael (Lynch) as well, and training with lads like that makes it so much easier.”
