Dunnes Stores issue urgent recall for baby sleepsuits over safety concerns

Dunnes Stores has issued a recall for three children’s clothing items designed for newborns that were sold in Ireland due to a “safety issue.”

In an advertisement published in today’s Irish Independent newspaper, the retailer announced: “It has come to our attention that a safety issue has been identified with the use of these products.”

The recall affects three specific items:

  • The Bunny Zip Sleepsuit, intended for newborns up to 18 months, with the style number 6421432.
  • The Lion Zip Sleepsuit, also for newborns up to 18 months, with the style number 6421433.
  • The Animal Sleepsuit for newborns up to 18 months, with the style number 6421434.

Dunnes Stores said: “We are issuing a product recall notice in respect of these products.”

They added: “We apologise for any inconvenience.”
