Dungloe stage super comeback to reach U21B final

Dungloe 2-10 Naomh Pádraig Muff 2-9

Dungloe had it all to do in the second half but came back from six points down to beat Naomh Pádraig Uisce Chaoin in the U21 B semi-final at the Centre of Excellence in Convoy.

The Inishowen side, with the help of a stiff breeze in the first half, went into the break 2-5 to 1-2 up with goals from Michael McCarron and Jamie McColgan, while a penalty from Oran Fallon raised the green flag at the other end.

There was still six in it with 10 minutes remaining but a fortunate free from Dáire Gallagher ended up finding the top corner and he added three more points to tie the game.

Jordan Saville and Oisin McKelvey gave them a two point lead in added time and Cormac McColgan hit back for the Muff side but it would be Dungloe that held on.
