Dungloe remain in the hunt for promotion to Division 1 with a deserved win over Gaeil Fhánada at Páirc Uí Shiadhail on Sunday.
Last year’s Intermediate champions played some scintillating football into the breeze in the first half and were good value for their 1-10 to 0-5 lead at the break.
A Jimmy Coyle goal did threaten a comeback for Fanad and both teams left a lot of scores behind them in the second half.
With Naomh Columba losing, Dessie Gallagher’s side will feel that a late push could put them in contention for automatic promotion or a play-off spot.
Dungloe made a fast start to the match and Ryan Greene registered a mark and a point from play within the opening six minutes.
