Dunloy 0-7 Dungloe 1-11
Dungloe turned in a brilliant second half performance to beat 13-man Dunloy in the Ulster Intermediate Championship quarter-final at Ahoghill today.
The Rosses men scored the first two points of the match but then lost their way and trailed by 0-6 to 0-3 at the break.
Dungloe were much improved after the restart with Dylan Sweeney and Barry Curran to the fore.
They edged in front before the Antrim champions had two men sent off inside three minutes.
Shaun McGee clinched the win with a 54th minute goal, and Dessie Gallagher’s men stood firm in defence late on.
The Donegal champions will now play either Galbally (Tyrone) or Glenullin (Derry) in the Ulster Intermediate semi-final in a fortnight’s time.
