Gary Duffy has been appointed as the manager of the Donegal Under 20 football team for the coming season.
The Buncrana man beat off competition from Shaun Paul Barrett, who was Under 20 manager last year.
The interview process was conducted by Donegal’s Coaching Games Development Manager, Aaron Kyles; Head of Academy Development, Karl Lacey; and Athletic Performance Consultant Micheál Cahill.
Duffy is familiar with players in this age cohort in Donegal having managed the Donegal minors in 2019. His management team includes 2012 All-Ireland winners, Eamon McGee and Leo McLoone.
