DSP’s Heart Saver workshop series

Participants in the upcoming series of Irish Heart Foundation Heart Saver workshops being held by Donegal Sports Partnership, in association with Donegal Safety Training Solutions, will be entered into a free draw for a defibrillator for their local school, club, or community centre.
The winner of the defibrillator will also have their workshop fee covered.

The three-hour workshop is open to everyone – those who work in sports or in a community setting, parents, teachers, and community and sports club volunteers.
The aim of the workshop is to increase awareness, instil confidence and provide practical experience of CPR/defib. The course content will focus on calling the emergency services, how and when?, CPR, defibrillation, heart attack and stroke, administration of aspirin, and choking.
The cost is €30, and participants will be certified by the Irish Heart Foundation for two years.
Participants must be aged 16 and over and parental/guardian consent is required from those aged under-18.
