INVESTIGATIONS are ongoing after gardaí seized a quantity of drugs and several firearms following multiple searches in East Donegal last Thursday.
The searches were carried out by gardaí from the Donegal Divisional Drugs Unit as part of Operation Tara.
A garda spokesperson said: “During the course of these searches, gardaí recovered a quantity of controlled drugs namely cannabis, cocaine, tablets, cash and a number of firearms.

“The drugs and firearms will now be sent for analysis and files will be prepared for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
“Investigations are ongoing.”
