Drop in patients on trolleys at LUH

EIGHT patients are currently on trolleys at Letterkenny University Hospital. 

Today’s figures show a drop from yesterday when 32 patients were awaiting a bed in the hospital.

Of the eight patients, four patients are on trolleys in the emergency department and a further four on wards elsewhere in the hospital.

Nationally, 56 admitted patients are waiting for beds this morning, according to today’s INMO Trolley Watch.

347 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 109 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
