Driving licence office will remain open as normal

The proposed National Driving Licence Service (NDLS) Letterkenny office reduction in operating hours will not go ahead.

The confirmation follows an update from Minister of State Jack Chambers T.D. last week in which he noted the proposed move was paused following a report from the RSA.

Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine and Donegal T.D., Charlie McConalogue welcomed the confirmation he received.

“The proposed reduction in operating hours at the NDLS Letterkenny office is an issue I’ve been working on with MoS Jack Chambers T.D. since it was first raised.

“It was positive to have the decision paused last week and I am delighted to confirm that it has been decided that the proposed change in office hours will not go ahead.

“The service is very important for Donegal drivers and I thank the service for all it does in Donegal. It is important to get this certainty for users of the service but also for those working in the office.”
