Drivers urged to take extra caution following oil spills across Donegal

Donegal County Council is urging drivers to remain vigilant after a number of oil spills were reported on roads throughout the county this morning.

The council has dispatched crews to clear the affected areas, but motorists should proceed with extra care, especially on the R236 at Ballyleckey Crossroads, the N13 between Kilross and Stranorlar, and the N15 from Stranorlar to Donegal Town.

Warning signs have been put up to alert drivers of the hazards, and the council is working to ensure the roads are made safe as quickly as possible.
