Downings clubman helps Meath defeat Derry

Downings clubman Cian McBride played in Meath’s Division 2 win over Derry today at Croke Park.

McBride was introduced in the second half and made a good impact against Conor Glass in midfield.

Meath won by 0-19 to 1-13 against a Derry side, who have Milford native Luke Barrett on their backroom team this year.

McBride transferred to Downings last year and made a good impression in the club championship.
