Downings aim to make the most of their home comforts

AOIBHINN O’Connell is hoping that the Downings ladies team can make the most of their home comforts this Saturday.

Downings take on Eoghan Rua, Coleraine in the Ulster Junior Championship semi-final at 2pm.

The Mevagh ladies have home advantage and they are keen to make the most of it.

The Downings pitch is a notoriously difficult one to play on as there is usually a breeze blowing that can be challenging to master.

It will surely put the Coleraine team to the test, and will ask questions of the Downings team too.

However, their local knowledge should stand to them.
