DOUGLAS, Edith (née Barr) – formerly of Buncrana, Co. Donegal (peacefully) after an illness borne with great courage and dignity in the wonderful care of the staff in St. Vincent’s Private Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Will be deeply missed and remembered with much love and affection by her husband and soulmate Mark, daughters Jocelyn and Julie, sons Gavin and Ross, sons-in-law Eddie and Ken, daughters-in-law Linda and Colette, her adored grandchildren Graham, Laura, Cian, Kelley, Lee, Jodi and Ayda, sisters Evelyn, Carol, Irene and Helen, brother Herbert, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law and a very wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

House private. Funeral Service on Friday morning at 11 am in Christ Church, Taney Road, Dundrum followed by cremation at the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to the Irish Cancer Society. Donation boxes will be present in the church.
