The Donegal Under 20s will have to plan ahead without two forwards who have ruptured their cruciates.
Bundoran man Ryan Barrett and Callum Cullen from Downings both picked up serious knee injuries in recent weeks.
They now face a long spell on the sidelines and will certainly be missed by their clubs and county.
Donegal Under 20 manager Shaun Paul Barrett confirmed the news on Wednesday night.
“We have lost two players who were training with us.
“We send out best wishes to Ryan Barrett, who underwent cruciate ligament surgery and we wish him the best of luck in his recovery.
“Callum Cullen picked up a cruciate injury as well. We have lost the two of them in the last six weeks so we wish them the best and a speedy recovery.”
