Donegal’s Wild Fuschia Bread will be available in Aldi from tomorrow

THE brainchild of Sian McCann, Wild Fuschia started out as a small business making homemade breads and baked goods. It has now transformed into an award winning company which focuses on Irish bread mixes.

The company has been chosen to represent Donegal in Aldi’s new campaign ‘Grow with Aldi’.

Located in the picturesque village of Dunfanaghy, Wild Fuschia first opened its doors in 2017. The range of bread mixes uses traditional recipes handed down from generation to generation; with just a few simple ingredients added by the home baker and they are all ready in under an hour.

Managing Director, Sian McCann, is “delighted to be participating in ‘Grow with Aldi’ 2025. It is the perfect opportunity to share our passion for baking by showcasing our artisan Irish Scone Mix throughout the Aldi network of 164 stores in Ireland which go on sale on Thursday, September 11.

A central theme for all of their bread mixes is “simple, wholesome and tasty” and this tagline features on all their products.

Wild Fuschia developed the mixes so that all the scones and breads can be made with a “No Mess, No Fuss, No Waste” approach.

Full instructions are given on the packs and they also have a number of helpful videos on YouTube @wildfuschiabakehouse.

Their website is www.wildfuschiabakehouse.ie
