Donegal 1-12 Tyrone 3-11
Donegal’s promotion hopes are all but over after a five point loss to Tyrone at MacCumhaill Park on Sunday.
John McNulty’s side were six points down at the break despite Niamh McLaughlin’s goal, as Tyrone hit 2-9 in the first 30 minute period.
And while Jodie McFadden (0-4) and Susanne White (0-6) kept the home side in the game with their scores, Maria Canavan’s late penalty ended any hopes of a comeback.
That result leaves Donegal six points behind second place Tyrone with just two games remaining and promotion looks out of their grasp now.
