Donegal’s new Farm Business Representative

DONEGAL has a new representative on the National Farm Business Committee of the Irish Farmers’ Association.

Shannon Porter, from Carrigans, was elected to the post following a vote at the annual general meeting of the Co Donegal Executive of the IFA in Letterkenny last week.

She defeated the outgoing Donegal representative on the National Farm Business Committee, Andrew McShea, from Ballyshannon, by 58 votes to 16.
