Donegal’s €500,000 lotto winner comes forward just days before deadline

The winner of the €500,000 Daily Million Plus in Ardara has officially came forward, with arrangements now in place for them to collect their winnings – just a few days shy of the deadline to claim the prize.

The prize, which was won in the Daily Million 2pm draw on Sunday, October 12, was purchased at Ardara Filling Station on Portnoo Road, just two days earlier, on Friday, October 10.

The winning Daily Million Plus numbers were: 9, 16, 24, 29, 32, 38, and the bonus number was 5.

All National Lottery ticket holders have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize, which means the Donegal winner had until close of business on Saturday, January 10 to claim their prize.

Darragh O’Dwyer, spokesperson for the National Lottery said: “ We’re delighted to share that the €500,000 Daily Million Plus winner in Ardara has come forward… Arrangements are now underway for them to collect their prize at National Lottery HQ.”
